Auction sales can be held either at client`s premises or our own well-equipped salerooms.     Auction sales with Grosvenor's are an efficient, effective and enjoyable way of disposing of goods you don`t need, selling at auction can also prove to be profitable. Whether it be a single item or an entire house, we are at your service to implement what is really quite a simple procedure. This begins with a visit from a valuer. He or she will visit your home to appraise any item/s you may be considering entering for auction.   A brief inventory and valuation may be provided, and in most cases is free of charge. Discretion is assured and there is no obligation to sell should you change your mind. Buying at auction can also be fun in the relaxed but professional atmosphere of our saleroom. Weekly sale consist of on average 400-500 lots. Included are items of modern, antique and shipping furniture. Approx. 250 of the lots consigned are pictures, paintings and ceramics. Silver and plated ware also feature regularly. Jewellery is consigned on a regular basis from both the public and commercial sectors with no reserve. Recent sales have included vehicles, caravans and quantities of ex-M.O.D.equipment. All sales are catalogued in booklet form, and are available at £1.00 each before each sale. An annual subscription can also be arranged, and sent either by post or e-mail.
